Quelques années après avoir fait le choix de divers outils de bureau dont LaTeX, l’auteur présente une rétrospective des différentes aventures qui lui sont arrivées dans l’installation et la mise à disposition de ces outils. Ce premier épisode donne les arguments qui ont présidé au choix de LaTeX comme formateur de documents.

Few years ago the computing center decided to use LaTeX and other tools to produce its own documents. The author presents here an overview of this adventure along the months during which he made the installation and provide tools to the end users. This first article discuss the pro and cons that were cited and brought LaTeX as the final choice for typsetting the inhouse documents.
