Axiomatique des fonctions biharmoniques. II
Annales de l'Institut Fourier, Tome 26 (1976) no. 3, pp. 1-47.

In a biharmonic space, a balayage of pairs of measures is defined and a connection with the three measures of the Riquier’s problem is established. One of these measures is not harmonic and therefore of special interest. In this setting, two inequalities of Harnack’s type are obtained and the hyperharmonic functions of order 2 are introduced. Further, a biharmonic space is constructed from two harmonic ones. Finally, the theory (1st and 2nd section) is applied to systems of type L 1 u 1 =-u 2 , L 2 u 2 =0, where L j (j=1,2) is a linear second order operator elliptic or parabolic.
