Sur la non-universalité des couples exacts

Nous remarquons que les invariants spectraux de Jordan de tout endomorphisme s'organisent en une suite spectrale de Leray–Koszul d'un type nouveau, dit « triangulaire ». Nous en déduisons une seconde suite spectrale pour tout couple exact de Massey et, surtout, nous en dérivons le concept universel de couplage exact de deux suites spectrales (la seconde étant triangulaire). Nous nous en servons pour la construction du premier exemple d'une suite spectrale qui ne dérive d'aucun couple exact.

We define the notion of triangular (Leray–Koszul) spectral sequence and show that the Jordan spectral invariants of an endomorphism form a triangular spectral sequence. We introduce the concept of a universal coupling between a spectral sequence and a triangular spectral sequence and obtain a second spectral sequence associated to a Massey exact couple. Using these ideas, we construct an example of a spectral sequence which is not derived from an exact couple.
