The digital mathematics library
The digital library Numdam is part of a network of services designed to make reference texts in mathematics available to researchers and the general public.
Numdam is part of a global network whose objective is to provide an exhaustive, open access archive of texts published in mathematics (at research level). At European level, the EuDML initiative has made significant progress in this direction. The International mathematical union is supporting this objective (see the dedicated page on the Committee on Electronic Information and Communication website)
In 2025, Mathdoc launched Geodesic, a digital library for the international mathematical community. Geodesic provides a single gateway to a vast collection of open-access mathematical research documents with advanced search and navigation features. For each document, Geodesic provides a link to the full text, thus creating the shortest path between the mathematician and the document they are looking for. Geodesic and zbMATH Open are interoperable: links between the two systems are provided to allow users to move easily from one platform to the other.
