Le LaTeX Companion, Second Edition a été édité en français par une équipe disparate. Après avoir montré quelques problèmes liés, d’une part, au fonctionnement de la chaîne éditoriale quand les acteurs sont à la fois traducteurs, compositeurs et correcteurs et, d’autre part, à la difficulté de traduire certains termes techniques, notamment ceux du monde de TeX, nous donnons le lexique anglais-français établi pour cette traduction.
The LaTeX Companion, Second Edition has been translated into French. During editing, problems happened due, in one hand, to the fact that prepress process was done by people which were at the same time translators, composers and proof readers, and in the other hand to some difficulties to translate technical terms specially in the context of TeX. Typical examples of these problems are exhibited. Then the English to French lexicon built for this translation is given.
